Hi,

I have a line with "forward no answer external" pointing to internal DN, but the forwarding never occurs. When setting "forward no answer internal" everything works fine.

How does Callmanager know whether a incoming call is internal or external? Is this the onnet/offnet setting for the gateway?

You need to make sure that you have set the No Answer Ring Duration to
the amount of seconds you require.

Are you using Unity as your autoattendant? All Unity calls appear as internal.

Then it's most likely a trunk configuration issue as described earlier...

No, we have no unity. It is happening with direct calls. No attendant console
or something else between.
