I have a little problem that will not go away. A user phone MWI does not light up when there is a message for her. I have checked everything to resolve this issue, but it is still there. Even deleted the extension and recreated it, but still no luck, also, checked her profile sheet in CCM, everything is good. what else can I check to resolve this issue. Yes, the light does work when incoming calls are received.

Can you dial the MWI On extension from the phone and turn it on?

Also, whats the status of MWI on that subscriber's page when you leave
him/her a message, does it generate anything in applog for the particular
subscriber.

I had a similar issue when I first rolled out Unity. It turned out to
be a calling search space / partition issue. You should look there
first.

If you can, then just do a simple resync of the MWI.

We actually have the same issue here. Seems that its random throughout
our installs and refreshing the status of the MWI through Unity sets it
correctly. Some sort of sync issue possibly? Unity 4.0(5). After our
plans of upgrading Unity, if its still persists i guess then I might go
as far as opening up a TAC case on it.

We are a small deployment ~500 subscribers but we have it set to resync
each night.

Also, have you rebooted your exchange server and not your Unity server
after the exchange server? This can cause this kind of issue also.

Scott
