CDR ServerDown -- bad CDR records in flat file
|
|
| Erick Bergquist 2007-01-19, 7:12 pm |
| Hi,
I have a CCM 3.3(4)sr2 client and getting CDRServerDown error now and then, and have traced it to the CDR flat files and entries for Call Control on VG248 ports. Example records are below. If I remove these from the flat file and drop file back in CDR fol
der it inserts fine without problem.
There is a garbage character (little square thing) in field where number should be or blank sometimes.
I haven't found a bug on this, so was wondering if anyone seen this and knows how to correct these records or if it is a bug.

| Erick,
Square character did not come through. Either import the 'bad' file
to Excel with headers to identify which column has bad value or send
me the raw text file.

| There seems to be 3 fields with the same garbage character in the bad flat files.
The first field with bad character is originalCalledPartyNumber, then finalCalledPartyNumber, then the lastRedirectDn field.
All these entries are Call Control entries for VG248 ports.
Excel doesn't seem to show the character, just a blank field.
I'll send you the original raw cdr file.
Thanks

| Erick,
Problem is the
lastredirectdn,originalcalledpartynumber
,finalcalledpartynumber
contains invalid character (0x0D).
CSCsc50551 is the closest I can find. It was found & integrated in
CM4.x
A TAC case escalated to development could possibly get a closer
source code review to see if there is fix anywhere in 3.x

| Wes,
Thanks for looking into that. I'll open a case to get it checked out further.
