Yes it does depending on the number of devices you
want to register with it when CCM is taking a dump.

| Yup. Read that. What concerns me is there little footnote underneat their spec boxes. It says for the 3825 i need 256 memory with 64 flash, but then the footnote says:
Memory recommendations and maximum numbers of IP phones are for common cisco SRST configurations only. Systems with large numbers of phones and complex configurations may not work on all platforms and can require additional memory or a higher performance platform.
I'm just concerned if I want to use the full load if 256 is enough.

I would surmise that so long as you're not trying to
do something off-the-wall such as register 480 SCCP IP
phones on your 3825, the standard recommended memory
and flash should suffice.

| I had a problem with a CMM module with a 480 SRST license. Let's just
say the older the IOS, the more phone can register. I think the
advertised SRST numbers are based on 12.2 IOS.

| Interesting, I see that the more recent SRST versions are able to sustain higher values, and I thought the more recent SRST versions require new IOS revisions.
