| I need to setup a conference call. We will have 5 or 6 people calling in
from outside.
So I decided maybe MeetMe was the best way. I setup some MeetMe numbers.
One is 4099.
But when someone dials in from the outside they get "I don't recognize that
as a valid extension".
Am I misusing MeetMe??

| the MeetMe conference has to be started from an IP phone.
IE> IP Phone --> press Meetme and then 4099
then outside callers dial XXX-XXX-4099 (so long as this is a DID) and then
everyone is conference together.
if ouside caller dials first then they get that error message.

| Setup a translation to point an external extension to your meet me
extension.

| This was assuming as Scott just said that you have started the MeetMe
from an IP phone and the call was still failing from the outside...
basically making sure this extension was able to be called from the
PSTN.

| I think one person must start the meet-me conference by picking up the phone, and selecting the meet-me soft-button and then entering 4099
After that, other people can join in by calling the 4099 number

MeetMe Softkey.
