Author Quick Question About Orphaned WAV Files
Miller, Steve

2007-10-15, 1:11 pm

TAC tells me that the orphaned wav file errors I see when I run DBWalker
can be easily fixed with that program and that there should be no
negative repercussions. Can I get an "amen" on that before I do it? He
also said that I should run DBWalker without correction first, then run
with correction. Does that also make sense? Thank you!

Yes - I've done that option more than once. The only caveat is once I
did it stupidly while we had many subscribers temporarily removed for a
different issue - that's NOT a good time to do it. I had no way to
re-import the wav files manually after without going to backups...what a
pain J

Yeah - that's what we did = - grabbed them off the backup - and yes, a
