cm 6.0 personal directory issues

I'm trying to setup personal directory in cm 6.0 and when I try to log into my ipphones with my user / password I get an PD logon unsuccessful error.. im able to log into ccmuser and add the entries there. but unable to log in on the phone to view entries

| Remember password is the PIN, not the "password" on the phone services.
Try resetting your User PIN in CCMAdmin.
