Hi
I have a question about conferencing in cme 4-1 and 4-2.
the conferencing capabilities has been enhanced and cisco say that
provided one has the correct amount of DSPs that one can run more than
a three party conference now.

assume I have a PVDM2-16 free for conferencing

with normal call manager I would typically be able to run G.729a
2 conferences X 8 conferees

What can be done on CME

Does anyone know if it is possble to run multiple ad-hoc conferences
on one cme system or is it more limited in the sense that irrespective
of the number of dsps that one can only run a single adhoc conference.
Just more than three participants should you have free DSPs configured
for conferencing

I also noticed that cisco say it is possible to run a maximum number
of meet-me conference parties of 32 for one DSP using the G.711 codec
and 16 for the G.729 codec. And as far as I know a single DSP is a
PVDM2-8

the questions above assume that one has enough free DNs / DRAM to
create the configuration of the conferencing
any help appreciated

Regards
Erik Erasmus
