| One quick question,
is it possible to monitor the state of a line with a button in the ip phone and use this same button to call this person???
If it is possible, how could I configure it?
Thanks,
Ruben

I made a test with two phones and I still have a problems.
Here are the steps I've done:
- configure partition A
- configure calling search space B
- add partition A to calling search Space B
- add PHONE A and PHONE B to partition A
- activate calling search space B on PHONE A
(activated on deviceconfiguration and on
the line configuration)
Normally PHONE A should now be only able to make
a call to PHONE B and anything else not, but
unfortunately it does. PHONE A can make normal calls
like all the other Phones.
Did I forgot something ?
Is this a wrong way ?
Regards,
Ahmad

No, it is not possible. As far as I know there is no new solution
to do that. One opportunity could be, you configure your speed dials
as shared lines. The problem by this solution is that everytime
a shared line is being called your phone rings too. If you have
24 shared lines, then you could get mad.

Ahmad

Hi,
we have CUCM-BE and 7960 with one 1714 modul.
We want to use the modul keys as a speed dails and we want the LEDs to light up when the line is available or busy.
For now we're using BLFs but it only gives us a speed dails but no light indicators.
Can it be configured??

| Yes, configure them as shared lines and set the ring setting to disable.
You will need to create a new phone button template to set these
buttons as lines.

| Have you enabled presence status on directory listings? I think its under Enterprise parameters.
You'll also need to set the presence css on each device to one that includes the partition of the line being monitored.

| BLF is what you should be using.
check your subscribe CSS, make sure it is the same CSS as your normal
CSS. that should make the BLF light for you.
