I don't buy that. I think that the slowness of the interface in 5.X
and 6.X isn't inherent in the use of Linux and other technologies - I
think that it has more to do with a poor implementation by Cisco. If
enough of us complain about the speed of the interface perhaps they'll
dedicate some engineering resources to fixing it.
