I am doing a Unity 4.2.1 vm only installation with Exchange 2003 , I am
running in to following error message again and again , has anyone come
across this and what was done to fix the same.

System detects that your active directory schema has not been extended for
use by exchange 2003. Some Exchange system manager functionality will not be
available until setup is run with the /Forestprep switch".

Any help appriciated

Run the ADSchemaSetup on the Unity DVD on a domain controller.... (or
the Unity server if it is a stand-alone domain)

I believe thats something to be done after exchange installation or before
exchange instalation ? this is vo only where everything is going to reside
on the same box.

Correct, adschemasetup installs the Unity schema extensions and is not
at all related to the exchange schema that your error is referring to.

Have you already run the setup with the /forestprep option? What happens
if you try to run it again?
