Has anyone upgraded to IE 7 that is managing CM, IPCCx, and Unity? Any
issues?

Thanks

IE7 Causes some issues with CAD agent desktops. One bad one in particular
is that the CAD desktop won't install if IE7 is on a machine.

Been using it since beta 1 to manage all of the below. No significant
problems other than the one Philip mentions below.

If you configure the browser to open new tabs for popup windows rather than
a new browser instance, popups will appear in full screen as another tab in
the browser. Not a big deal, just a difference in how it works and feels,
particulary inside CM when doing things like resets or looking at dependency
records.

Managing CM and Unity with IE7 and the latest Java client seem to be ok. I
keep getting certificate warnings with IE7 but its no big deal and I can fix
it easily enough.

As someone else said there is a problem with IPCCx and being able to install
CAD I know first hand about this after fighting for half a day on why I
could not install CAD on a machine. Uninstalled IE7 then installed CAD,
then installed IE7 and things were fine. Kind of a pain but oh well, they
say it will not be fixed until the next release (5) I think.

I'm running Vista RTM (Build 6000). Only thing I have found is the Cisco
VPN Client (Beta) is buggy, has issues. No IE issues.

I heard this would be fixed in IPCC Express 4.0(5) which was suppose to be released late November, Early December but I haven't looked to see if it isout yet.

So, it looks like CAD and IE7 thing could be another issue with updating PCs with DST updates if they had installed IE7 on PCs since installing CAD.....

Example, someone whose on 3.5(3) and updates to 3.5(2) for DST and goes and updates the PCs where they installed CAD a long time ago and updated to IE7 recently.
