If you have third generation 79x1 phones yes, other phones get their
clock from CallManager. So the load wouldn't do much for someone with
all older 7940/7960s.

I wish it was a DevPackage versus a single .exe file. I'm debating to
just wait for next device package so long as it's before the second
Sunday in March...I do have third gen phones.

Just look out if you have IPCC Express 3.0, 3.1 or 3.5(prior to 4).You
have to upgrade to 3.5(4)SR2 to get the DST patch. That's apretty
major undertaking, especially when you count up the agents youhave to
touch.

Yea, that is the biggie for people who have older versions if they want fix.. They just updated the field notice with that info also. Got to use PUT and wait for them to come if you're not on 3.5(4) already assuming you have an active SAU. At least it is just a JRE update on 4.0(x). Also, if prior to3.5 they'll need to update call manager.

Also, watch out for licensing issues/differences between older versions and newer versions. I heard of one who upgraded from 3.x standard license and had to get the enhanced license to get their existing working scripts towork on 4.x due to differences.
