Im configuring a FXO port with mgcp GW. For some reason when i call in on the pots number ...the port goes off hook for a sec and back on. Seem that it goes off hook with every ring. am i having a voltage issue.

| Well, if it is an FXO, is it a DID? If not, is there a PLAR statement or an
attendant DN assigned?
Does it go fast busy, or does it ring forever?
If it is an FXO DID, is the telco sending digits? If not, the port is
kicking the call cuz it isn't getting the right signaling...
Or...
<the rantings of an insane person>
The port is bad, you have bad DSPs, the line got gnawed thru by a chipmunk
who thought it was the thread holding up the sword of Damocles (and he
really hated Damocles...)
