Dear All,

I am a little confused about the language support on cisco IP Phone devices
such as IP Phone, Softphone, Communicator. I know that the phone device
support XML format, so that means any data in XML format can be displayed in
IP Phone. But in cisco.com, only the 7941G & upper series has "multilanguage
support" in features table with comment "Support for more than 20 languages
is built in (depends on cisco Unified CallManager version).". Does that mean
like the directory information (ex: AD) which has Chinese characters can
also be displayed in the phone device? Is there any firmware/software
version limitation on Hard/Soft phone? Thanks for your great help.

Regards,
Alan
