| We are looking at upgrading to CCM 5.1 and changing our server hardware at the same time. When we implemented our cisco IPT solution about 3.5 years ago, we used 2-port, 48-channel network modules (NM-HDV-2T1-48) and VG200 gateways (CAG-VG200) for connectivity in front of our CallManagers. Now, we can get this functionality out of a cisco 2821 ISR with the voice modules. Our VAR is pushing this upgrade for performance, but I would like to hear some other opinions. Is this worth it (I know cisco has placed the VG-200 at "end-of-sale" and support will go away in a couple years)? Are there other advantages or disadvantages to consider?
Thanks.

| If finacially possible, dump the VG200s, they are going to lose support
soon.
If you really don't want to dump them, convert them to H.323 and you can
keep using them forever....
