Hello I have an fxo port on a 2851 h323 gateway which is connected to a
Valcom 2003a paging controller. I am having intermittent issues with the
fxo port staying offhook until I shut, no shut it.

here is the config of the voice-port and the dial-peer.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
voice-port 0/0/0
pre-dial-delay 0
description paging 803[21]

dial-peer voice 803 pots
description Paging at 803[21]
max-conn 1
destination-pattern 803[12]
port 0/0/0
forward-digits 1
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone see anything that I might be missing?

add this to the voice-port:

I configured the 'supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call' command under
the voice port. I shut no shut the voiceport and waited to see what
happened. It didn't fix the issue. A couple hours later there was another
hung voiceport.

I have not had this problem before with h323. If it were MGCP I could see
the logic, but this is a first for me.

I am at a loss, usually these are a result of telco not sending the correct
signaling... or your router not listening to it...

Did you check with Valcom tech support about your 2003A disconnect
settings. Othan than bad dsps or a debug vpm signal.

I think I found the problem. Well, the router was running IOS 12.4(3)g, and
I upgraded to 12.4(8)c as per my company standard and found that I have gone
the whole day without a hung fxo port. I will continue to monitor but I'm
convinced that upgrading the IOS was the trick.
