Announcements on phone display

| Can anyone tell me if it is possible to put announcements on the IP
phone display? I think I heard that somewhere put can't seem to find
how to do it. Thanks

| Ipcelerate, Berbee, Cistera, Citrix, Litescape and many others make a
product for grouping phones and broadcasting Text and Audio messages. You
just need to compare pricing and pick the one you like. cisco may also
have something available in their SDK but that will require some
programming knowledge. Maybe someone already has one out there that they
are willing to share .

I think you could probably create a very simple IP
phone service that does just this. Possibly you could
just replace the IDLE screen with the message you want
to display.
