Author [c-nsp] Using Black Box TS027A-R2 to test Cisco Ethernet

Anybody familiar with using a Black Box TS027A-R2 Ethernet tester to test
the 10/100 ports rather than connect a device to every port? We seem to get
false positive results with it and have been advised by Black Box tech
support not to use the TS027A-R2 or any standard Black Box Ethernet tester.

Because of how a cisco switch handles the pulse from the tester, it can give
false readings. The advised tester to use is the TPAM128335.

Please comment, confirm or advise otherwise.

Thanks
