| Hey James,
These reports are limited to what the system provides. Custom reports
would be available in an ICM/Enterprise deployment.

| Maybe I'm wrong here but can't you create an ODBC connection to an MSDE
instance (what IPCC express uses?)...I'm far from a windows expert but
thought that was possible.
Regardless, definitely doable w/ Enterprise - there's even a pdf
(hundreds of pages+) outlining the entire database schema.

Hi James,
Please refer to the "Cisco CRS Historical Reporting Administrator and
Developer Guide" at the following location. This document is the best
starting point that describes how your developers can create their own
reports.

| My understanding is, if you're doing a single box of
IPCCX without failover, the rudimentary database on
the box is enough. However when configuring IPCCX for
multiple failover, a full install of SQL Server is
required on each node.
I'd surmise that if you have a fully redundant setup
for IPCCx, since you'd have a full SQL Server
installation, if you have a SQL-head around the office
you might be able to use her/him for the
report-generation.

| You can create reports using crystal reports and point to the MSDE SQL
database directly using OLE. However, the preferred method is the one
Ryan sent here. It takes quite a bit more programming ability than just
Crystal however.

| Just for FYI, there is no real difference between MSDE and full SQL
other than database size and redundancy. All the same SQL queries and
access abilities exist in both. The missing piece with a standard
install of MSDE is the SQL Enterprise Database tools (which I've seen
missing from more Unity installations than I care to count!). The
enterprise admin tools can be added to any SQL server or any workstation
for that matter. You can install these tools on a reporting PC and have
full access to the SQL database on the IPCCX server.
