Does anyone have any links on the exact behaviour of a phone (regardless of model or model details) when the WAN goes down?

We are having trouble with our WAN provider as well as alarms and I need to document what will happen.

I've experienced the phones registering to SRST at differrent intervals in my testing and didn't care before, but now I do.
