OK--

help me think through this one.

9.911 is used as E911 in my voice network.

I'm moving a Fax line 606-9911 over to a BRI on my Voice network then using
a ATA to attach to the Fax machine.

how do I do this?

do I have to create a new CSS just for the VGW and make the ATA extension
9911 only apart of that VGW's CSS?

Then leave the current CSS for all the phones at that site. then the ATA
will also have the normal CSS for the site.

Am I thinking correctly?

Thanks

Scott

The best way I have found is create set the VGW to a new CSS and put 9911 in
a translation pattern with a partition on the VGW can call.
This way only the VGW will be able to hit the ATA through a translation
pattern and the rest of the users while 9.911 get the authorites.
