has anyone used asterisk for Voicemail with CM 5.1.2?

is it pretty easy to setup? are there any big problems? does MWI work?

I've never played with Asterisk so sorry for the bone head questions.
Current VM / PBX is having issues when using CM 5.1 so I'm looking for
options.

are there any cost involved? other then a server?

Thanks

Scott

I'll try again, to the list this time (new to Gmail with mailing lists !!)

Works quite well using over a SIP trunk.

We have used this from CCM 4.1 and upgraded all the way to 5.1 with no
changes.

MWI works flawlessly for all all phones.

The details I used are here:

Images weren't working when I checked but it should give you an idea.
