| I just ran into similar issues the otherday and I also
could not find any logs on CMM but the logs on the ftp
server were enough to track it down eventually.
My issue was that CMM wants a .gz file extension and I
was changing it to a .sgn like I would with CM5.x.
Not sure if thats your issue but figured I'd share
anyway, next time I'm just burning a DVD.

| Thanks Mike
I'm very much aware of this bug however my issue was
that CMM apparently wants a .gz file extension where
CCM wants a .sgn file extension so I was treating a
CMM upgrade in the same fashion as a CCM upgrade and
that would not work. Renaming the file to
"cisco-ipt-k9-patch1.2.5.2000-1.tar.gz" worked for
me...

| I'd recommend looking on the console of the ftp/sftp
server, I use FileZilla
(http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/) even the basic
settings are probably verbose enough to figure it out.
