Unified Messaging - Mailbox Access by Phone

| Recent problem encountered.
client has 7941 set and Unity Unified Voice Mailbox. For some reason
when he attempts to access his Unity Voice Mailbox from his phone or by
remotely calling his number and entering * and his password he get the
system message "your messages are not available now". This has happened
to me from time to time but I assumed it was an "all ports are busy"
message. We have blown away his Unity set-up and reprogrammed it and
reset his IP Set.
Certainly would appreciate some help with this one. Thanks.

| We have seen similar issues when people have changed their name and/or
been moved to a different information store in Exchange. TAC had me go
into DOHproptest to verify unity could see all of the appropriate
values. It asks for a password. You can leave it blank and click
ignore to get into read only mode. The password for read write is based
on the date but I don't remember the details. TAC never could figure it
out and said to completely delete and recreate the unity and AD users.
Most of the users choose to not lose all of their messages and calendar
items and just check messages through VMO.
