| I do not see the codec command on my CME router and I wish to do g729
between phones?
Isn't this where it is supposed to be?
Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M), Version
12.4(12), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
cme uptime is 2 hours, 41 minutes
System returned to ROM by power-on
System image file is "flash:c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-12.bin"
cme(config-ephone)#?
Ethernet phone configuration commands
after-hour ephone exempt from after-hour blocking
auto-line Automatically select the most appropriate phone line when
the telephone handset is lifted offhook for both incoming
and outgoing calls. The 'no' form of this command
requires
the phone user to always explicitly select the phone line
to
use by pressing the appropriate phone Line button
button Assign ephone-dn phone lines to phone using format with
feature options.
default Set a command to its defaults
description Detail description of the phone
dnd set Do-Not-Disturb options for phone
ephone-template Define ephone-template tag
exit Exit from ephone configuration mode
fastdial Define ip-phone fastdial number
keep-conference Do not disconnect conference when conference initiator
hangs-up.Connect remaining parties together directly
using
call transfer.
keepalive Define keepalive timeout period to unregister IP phone
