HATS causes browser window to close?

In our web application, we click on a button from one of our pages to
"launch" the mainframe using HATS. The mainframe screen displays in the
same browser window.

Has anyone heard or experienced HATS automatically closing your browser
window. This does not happen all the time in our application, but it does
happen sporadically. There is nothing complicated about the scenario - a
simple button that points to the HATS entry servlet which triggers the
connection process. For whatever reason, during this process, the browser
window automatically closes. I figured that this would be the best place to
ask - thanks!
