User setup on the iSeries

We have a client using HATS 5.x and they have questioned us on setting up
the user profiles on the iSeries box. Right now they have just a few of
their customers accessing the iSeries applications via HATS portlets, but
soon they will be adding many more customers. They don't want to have to
set up a user profile on the iSeries for every user - how are other people
handling this issue?
