| Wow, I feel like a complete newbie...
I've never used HATS and don't even know how to access it! I have WDSC
5.1.2.
Can someone direct me to a good starting point?

You can follow the trials link to get a copy of the toolkit (but the current
version won't work on WDSC 5)
Or you can start with the Demo link and see how the product works.

| Juanma, I thought HATS was included in WDSc v5.1.2 (a trial version that
lets you have two connections). I think I installed only the standard
edition of WDSC v5.1.2 and I'm able to play with HATS Full Edition.

I'm also a bit confused about what we package where. Good to know you
got HATS working now. Post again if you have any other question.
BTW, you are using HATS 5, latest one is 6 (that is the toolkit I pointed
you to).
