Our mainframe is Natural/Adabas and most of our staff use 3270 emulators. We
also have some staff using Software AG's Entire Connection to download data
to the PC as well us uploading data to the mainframe.

Does HATS support downloading? If yes, is this built in or third party
software?

No, HATS is not a full function emulator and doesn't support file transfer.
If you are trying to replace Entire Connection with a browser based emulato=
r,
IBM's solution is WebSphere Host On-Demand.
