The odds are that you need to be using https, rather than http.

You can either do a checkout of the JDO repo w/ https in the URL (the
easy way) or there's a svn command to change your existing tree on
disk.

If you arent' comfortable with svn (which I'm guessing) and there isn't
a lot of things to copy from your existing to the new, I'd just do a
fresh co.
