The downloads for JARs from Apache have always been from
http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cg.../javax.jdo/jars

I've been to several and find this "java-repository" empty. My default mirror
(apache.rediris.es) is one such. Another in my list of "closest"
"mirrors.hostalia.com" is similar empty in that location.

Any particular reason for this ?
If there are mirrors only supporting particular things then surely Apache
should have a way of sending people to a relevant one without the user having
to stab around in the dark to find "a live one".
