Looking up information about Java Data Objects I came across the
anti-hate hate website of the Jewish Defense Organization. They make use
of the Apache JDO logo without giving the Apache foundation any credits
or without issuing a disclaimer: http://www.jdo.org/naziweek.htm

By the way, good job on the logo. I realized something was out of place
as soon as I saw the image, even though I had never seen this particular
logo before; the association to Java was obvious (OK, the TM bit hinted
something strange as well).

Sincerely,

who owns the jdo logo? Was it developed at/for apache? Looking on
http://db.apache.org/jdo/ it has "Java" in the subtext, which makes me
wonder if Sun owns that logo.

If apache owns that logo we can notify prc@apache.org.

That's definitely a Sun logo, but it probably got transferred with
rights to Apache.

If Sun owns the logo, who at Sun should be notified?

** Forwarding this mail to legal-discuss.

The issue is:

Looking up information about Java Data Objects I came across the anti-hate hate website of the Jewish Defense Organization. They make use
of the Apache JDO logo without giving the Apache foundation any credits or without issuing a disclaimer: http://www.jdo.org/naziweek.htm

What we can do?

Best Regards,

Antonio Gallardo.

That website looks like it hasn't been updated in a couple of years.
