Class org.apache.jdo.tck.pc.companyAnnotatedFC has the following @Index annotation:

@Index(name="INS_DISCRIMINATOR_INDEX", unique="false",
columns=@Column(name="DISCRIMINATOR"))

Columns are irrelevant in non ORM implementations - member should be used instead.
