These are useless in the UK using a BT PSTN line, for the following
reason.

If you have a set up of a VoIP line and a BT PSTN line on this box, then
when you are using the VoIP line the PSTN line is taken off hook. After
a while you hear (in the background) the BT 'off hook' howling, which is
very annoying and is not satisfactory. Don't know whether this applies
to Telewest or NTL.
