| Good news - at last Sipgate and Netgear have fixed the fault that caused
TA612Vs to 'drop off" the VoIP service for a few seconds every few minutes.

True, but some users have experienced a problem
when the TA612V tries to update the new software.
The result is that anyone who calls the spigate number
is transferred to the voicemail and your phone doesn't
ring.
The cure is to log onto the sipgate website and
deregister the TA612V. Then reregister and when
the TA612V next boots the new software will be
installed correctly.

Don't know, but if the fix has worked it won't be flashing trying to
register every few minutes.
