Problem sipdiscount.com - i can dial, hear free sign, but during connectionno voice...

| Hello,
i just trying out sipdiscount.com in the following environment:
Germany (Fritz!Box WLAN 7050) -> sipdiscount.com -> back to Germany (normal
phone line, no VoIP, no special number).
I use connectionserver.sipdiscount.com as Registrar and also for
Proxy-Server.
Registering seems to be ok, i can dial e.g. *125#00498141xxxx and the remote
phone rings. Local phone gets a tone that remote phone is ringing. Remote
device goes off hook, but local device still get ringing tone. No voice
connection is established.
Sipdiscount wegpage tells me: No calls made on the Sipdiscount network yet.
BTW: I have not put any money on account of sipdiscount.com, but as far as i
read on their webpage, phoning to Germany is free ?
Someone out there with the same problem ? Or tips how to get it working ?

Just complete following Fields in your Fritz.Box 7050:
Internettelefonie-Anbieter: anderer Anbieter
Internetrufnummer: <choose any number > (*)
(*) this number (e.g. "1234") will be handeled as a MSN in your Fritz!Box
Benutzername: <your sipdiscount user-name>
Kennwort: <your sipdiscount password>
Kennwortbestaetigung: <repeat your sipdiscount password>
Registrar: sip.sipdiscount.com
Proxy-server: <leave blank>

You need to have 5 EUR on your account in order to make (unlimited) free
calls
Account can go below 5 EUR (you still can make free calls as long there is
money on your account)
It works fine here (Belgium > Fritz!Box WLAN 7050)

i must say i still have problems. I meanwhile uploaded 10 Euro via Paypal
and money is shown in my personal area on sipdiscount.com.
When i use sip.sipdiscount.com as you suggested, i can dial german numbers,
can talk and hear the other, everything fine, but i am limited to 1 minute.
The calls are not listed inside personal area (recent calls).
When i use sip1.sipdiscount.com as suggested on sipdiscount.com webpage, i
can dial, but have the problem described in the last email (on one side
still ring tone, remote side doesn't hear anything). After around 30 seconds
call is ended on remote side, but on local side still the ring tone. BUT:
The 30 seconds are listed in recent calls as FREE calls !?! So i think this
time the username / password combination is recognized.
Can you help me again ?

I battled to get sipdiscount working.
There seem to be a number of different settings to try. I, for one, am using
Sipdiscount on my Asterisk server. However, although I'm using Sipdiscount,
the server I'm using is iax.voipbuster.com.
I also remember the (unlimited) free calls started working around 24 hours
after crediting my account.

Give it 24 hours to get your user-date digested ;-)
It works fine here (Belgium)

| To rule out any firewall/router issues with your setup I would suggest
you try configuring some other SIP based service such as the one found
at fwd.pulver.com or sipphone.com and make sure they function
correctly.

| The problem is definitely unrelated to your payment status. Have you
opened ports 5060 and 5004 on your firewall?
