None of that affects the ringing pattern the person calling you hears, I'm
afraid, that will remain continental.

That's very strange; my SPA2002 had a continental ring tone (when people
were calling me) out of the box; but making these changes now gives the
expected tone - I only started to look into it after people calling me
complained about it; after the changes it was as good as a normal phone
line; perhaps my provider made changes at the same time too.

Mine is ok now Alan I was only getting the continental tone because I
had not swapped the phone back into the voipcheap port I would like to
know why I was getting a ringing tone of any kind with no phone in the
port soon has I plugged the phone in all was ok .
