This is more food for thought. Would it be possible for someone to
explain 'dialplan' please? I assume it means that I would be able to
make calls using a consistent set of rues that would be converted for
the requirements of the line selected.

Is this software? Does it happen inside my ATA? Or, does it happen on
my VoIP provider's kit? How does one program the plan(s)? Is the
programming done thru my browser perhaps?
