You have not given much information.
What is your hardware set up?
Do you get a dial tone?
Have you tried dialling 613 for the echo test?
If you are using an ATA does it show FWD to be registered?

just started with FWD, i doo use ITSP's like Voipbuster or VoipCheap,
through my SPA3102, but i use FWD through their suplied windows client
for now, so your're saying when i configure FWD in my SPA3102, i should
have no problem ? btw, i use my sip's through Mysipswitch.
My setup is: a Sweex ADSL modem router, with the ATA on one of its LAN
ports, the PC is connected to the ATA, the Dect phone(s) on the ATA, the
POTS line is also connected to the ATA.
And have VoipCheap, and VoipBuster connected to me via MySIPSwitch, a
switching service like Voxalot

Perhaps your router is getting confused forwarding SIP to the SPA and
the machine running X-Lite.

Check your quote settings..

yes, i'll try it on a other pc (lapptop) i suspect my pc setup is a bit
messed up, things getting started, i didn't setup completely, i 'll
remove them and set it up correctly.
and set FWD also through Mysipswitch to my regular phone that way.
Btw. does FWD use an other protocol, or other codecs than other sip ITSP's?

I use Voxalot, I had tried to use Mysipswitch in the past but I could never
get my registrations to show propelly and I got a "cannot create xmlhttp
instance"
message. I just tried it on another computer and it seems to work.
I don't know why it doesn't work on this laptop, perhaps it is IE6, or the
Group Policy stuff that is imposed on it.

Try Firefox. It is a much better browser with the option of installing
your choice of extensions from the hunderds available.
The English(British) version is available for free from here:-
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Not wanting to hijack the thread...
A firewall might also cause a problem with a softphone ??

I just installed the FWD communicator on my laptop, and that works
perfect, so i guess i leave it that way, i guess this pc is that messed
up, i should just install WinXP+SP2 completely again on it....but i now
know i can use FWD with MySIPSwitch..
and yes, i guess it could also be a firewall issue, i guess that's why
it does work on the (Vista) laptop, because there i was asked (more) for
safety exeptions...
I guess i'll install a AsteriskNow on a old pc in the near future, with
some NAT storage, for my wifi radio's/pda through my house and also
Linux on my (now) messed up pc, WindowsM$ is getting boring

Problem is solved, it was a NAT issue, switched modem/router, i guess
this one has a better NAT configuration...
