Routing problems, I suppose... ALL Sipgate servers are up and my * box=20
is registered from a Nildram ADSL connection, but I'm offline from a=20
VirginMedia cable connection.
Mind you, on the same connection I'm registered to two other providers.
CR@P, it'll take days, blood and tears to fix...

I hesitate to say "not here they're not" in case Ron's about, but all 5 of
my Sipgate (4 x UK & 1 x German) Sipgate numbers are working.
Have you tried a reset of your router & ATA's..?

I've started a thread in virginmedia.support.broadband.cable called "Routing
failing to Sipgate".
Can I ask those of you having problems to post to it including some
traceroutes to sipgate.co.uk. They seem to be having several problems today
and are currently ignoring my post. The more of us who are having problems
report it to Virgin the more chance of them doing something about it.
Kind Regards
Simon
P.S. you would be better off using text.news.blueyonder.co.uk to post since
there can be delays of a few hours posting to news.blueyonder.co.uk.

You can't, and as you're not interested by the fault - as you're not in
the xBY network - you shouldn't mind reading, really...

Well I'm ex-NTL and I can't get to Sipgate or Google mail, so it would be
helpful if someone could tell us what the blueyonder news message says.

Just access your usual news server and point to virginmedia.announce or
virginmedia.support.broadband.cable NGs, they're available on your xNTL
connection. But AFAIK, the problem isn't on the xNTL areas, only onto
xBY areas.
I might be wrong tho...

You do appear to be wrong, ex NTL, and I had the Sipgate problem, but
problem now seems to have been resolved.

VM are having routing issues to a number of German destinations, as much as
you hate Sipgate and anything German, it is VM who are having issues.
Though I am on VM and not had any problems with Sipgate, 1&1 and others,
that other VM people are.
