Can anyone tell me how and what with I can log the "SIP messages" to and
from a PAP2.

I have tried "slogsrv" and it works well but I think the information is not
complete and I need a more detailed log of the SIP messages.

Thanks for any help.

What are you missing?

You could try Ethereal/Wireshark network sniffers, but these won't work on a
switched network.

I'm presuming that slogsrv is a syslog server.

This will only display what the pap2 sends to it.

Tips to get more log infomation.

On the system tab, put the IP address of your syslog server into to
`Debug Server:` box as well as the `Syslog Server:` box. T

Experiment with the `SIP Debug Option:` on the Line1 tab. I think if
you set this to full, you will get full SIP messages.

On the other hand, if you are diagnosing a server side or SIP ALG
problem, just invest in a Snom phone. You can then see all the SIP
trace in the web interface. For extreme problems you can even run pcap
(tcpdump/wireshark) on the phone.

Yes, it's Sipura's syslog server.

Thanks for the replies, I did get it sorted in the end by changing the SIP
Debug Options.

Never done it before so was a little green.
