Hi

Can I use VHosts to make a locale page (192.168.1.02:82) to an URL
(http://test.domain.com) which can be seen from "outside"?

Plz ask if u don't understand my question.

You need a stadic ip address to create a domain name server.

I'm not sure I understand what u mean. I have a static IP already,
hosting several domains.

My problem is that I have server-monitoring software which is creating
an output to 192.168.1.02:82. I want that output to be public so I can
see the server-status from my job.

It's a trial version of "IPCheck Server Monitor"

Port forward ext_ip:82 -> 192.168.1.2:82. This is usually done by either
your router or firewall. Once this is done you could http://ext_ip:82/ and
hey-presto, fixed.
