| Is there a binary for the Apache2.0.48 compiled with the latest SSL? If not,
how do you compiled them from the source? Thanks

Just get the normal msi windows installer (no-ssl) from the apache website, then
get the extra couple of files (inc. compiled mod_ssl) from here:
http://rab.members.easyspace.com/apache-ssl/

| Thanks.
Please pardon my little knowledge of apache stuff, don't you have to have
SSL compiled with Apache to get it to work?
If this mod_ssl works, this is great, so we don't have to mess around with
the standard Apache, with no-ssl.
My next question, is there any easy docs for configuring Apache with SSL
enabled?
Much appreciated

No. It is a modular server, so you can just drop in extra modules to your
existing install, no need to recompile the whole lot.

The file on the site I gave you only contains the extra files needed for
mod_ssl. Just install the normal no-ssl version from the apache website,
then add in the extra couple of files from my website. That's all there is
to it, a simple two step process.

Yes, there is a mini-howto on that same site. This will be enough to get you
up and running with a secure site. If you want more detail there is a link
to another page with much more.
Richard.
