Author Directory Indexing question... Fedora2 default page shows instead of directory listing

Have older RH 7.x and 8.x servers with desired behaviour in Apache for
some domains where I wish to list the directory listing by default..
i.e. no index.html page at root of domain works and have proper users
and permissioning etc. working fine.

When I duplicate the setup and per directory file access info etc.
onto fedora2 with latest Apache Server, it continues to serve the
'fedora 2 default page' (since i want to show only directory listing I
have no index.html on that domain, under that virtual host)

How do I change this so it does not go to the default fedora2 apache
2.x default page when it does not find index.html in the directory for
the domain which I wish to show a directory list for?

Thanks in advance
