Hello all

I am in a situation, where I must use Chilisoft ASP version 3.6.2 on Apache
2.0.39 (and I am aware of the security patch that is needed).

I was wondering if anyone here know which version of php that runs on Apache
2.0.39....

Thanks
Henrik

Theoretically every version of php runs, but they (php) said not tu use
it on production, probably because isn't stable yet. Besides, nothing
stop you to run your Chili!ASP on 2.x and php on 1.3 and redirect the
connections from one to another.

Hey

Actually I did know that. And I must confess, that I am not very happy to
continue with that configuration.

I have another Apache server with 2.0.47, ASP 4.0.1 and php 4.3.4 And that
works great !!! Unfortunately there is an error in ASP 4.0.1 and therefore
SUN Microsystems have informed me, that I should role back to version 3.6.2
of ASP. But that version will (apperently) not install on anything else but
2.0.39 :-(

But but what did you say about running ASP and php on any version of Apache
???

How is that done, if the installationsprogramme will not recognize the
version of Apache installed ??

Thanks
Henrik

No, I said "PHP" should work on any version of Apache. I always
compiled php from sources, so the installation isn't a big deal if
you have the sources of Apache and Php. I know almost nothing about
ASP and, frankly, don't want to know.
