Hi,

is it possible to use some kind of variables in apache config files
(1.3)?

I would like to define something like

$user=user1
$dir =/home/dir

and use these in one generic configfile.

A quite interesting alternative to this is mod_vhost_alias, but I
don´t know how logfiles and other directives could be used with the
values defined by that module... maybe somebody has a nice setup with
VirtualDocumentRoot and split logfiles to different directories?
