| Hello,
how can I test my website with apache server? Which directory or file I
have to change?
For example my web site is in C:\documents\siti with my default.html that is
my home page?

Dump your pages in the htdocs directory and fire up your browser,
point it to localhost and (if you did started Apache) it should
work.

| Credo che tu possa scrivere in italiano.
Ho portato il file default.html nella cartella da te indicata e poi ho
riavviato il server ho lanciato l'explorer al local host ma mi "esce" sempre
la pagina predefinita. Poi ho visto dalla documentazione che si potrebbe
modificare il file httpd e farlo puntare alle directory interessate, bò

I have succeeded in making to appear my briefcase, only cancelling what was
before.
Now the problem is how to refer to another extern briefcase.

'till you write in an international group the language is english,
not perfect, but english.

Evidently is not the right one, check which one is in the httpd.conf
file, the entry is DocumentRoot. The page have to be index.html,
note : html not htm.

| ok has succeeded. I have modified these two lines DocumentRoot
"C:\Documenti\SITI" and Directory "C:\Documenti\SITI" and now I can read the
content of the briefcase. The problem was that I put \ after SITI and it
didn't make me read the briefcases but only if I put some files.
