how to hide url identity of source server
|
|
|
| Dear group members:
I have a question:
When people click a banner on my site they are taken to the destination
site. Someone on the destination server can look at their access logs and
find out the exact page that the click happened from.
Is it possible to tweak apache on my side to hide the identity of this page?
I know it can be done thru header directive in httpd.conf.
But I could not figure it all out.
Please help.
THanks

It's your visitor's _browser_ telling the _other_ server the URL of its
previous -aka the referring- page

As Apache on your site is not involved in the dialogue ... no
