Take this as a measure of how important the issue is to him. If he
doesn't care enough about the problem to spend any money fixing it then
he doesn't care about the problem and neither should you. There is a
cheap solution to the security issues - take the content off the
internet. Access by authorised people can be achieved by sending them
the data on a CD/DVD - if you can't trust then not to pass it on or let
it be stolen, don't send it. This is not completely secure, but if the
threat is from the kind of people who can intercept physical mail then
he needs help of a kind he will not get from a newsgroup.
